For Jane Cher, the story of starting Stuffed Toys Hospital is a little different. The 24-year-old stumbled upon the website of a Japanese soft toy “hospital” in 2018, and was intrigued by its concept.

Piglet

Piglet required a new torso. To ensure its owner was satisfied with the fabric chosen, the "doctors" of Soft Toy Hospital took photos of various fabrics sold at Chinatown so the owner could pick a suitable design.

More time than usual was taken to source for a suitable fabric for this toy tiger, as it was to be given to its owner’s young daughter, who is sensitive to dust.

These toys belong to the same owner and had never been washed. It took two weeks and a special detergent for them to look as good as new.

Oscar arrived with an exploded head caused by a spin in the washing machine. The toy is over 40 years old, so extra care was given during its "operation".
